FAQ

To give you a comprehensive understanding of us and our products, we've selected some typical questions frequently asked in customer communications. If you have further questions about our products and orders, please visit our product page or contact us directly.

Q

What are your core strengths?

A
core strengths

Our core strengths lie in our professional team and strict quality control. First, our sales team has undergone rigorous product training and can address most of your technical questions immediately during our discussions. Our production, engineering, and quality control departments are responsible for delivering products that meet all standards to you. They also serve as technical advisors to support our sales team.

Q

How can I purchase your products?

A
core strengths

You can email us your requirements or submit them directly via the form at the bottom of the webpage. Please be sure to specify the exact grade, product, dimensions, and quantity. Our sales team will promptly send you a professional quotation, product catalog, and data sheet. If you are interested in our offer, please send us a purchase order (PO). We will provide a pro forma invoice (PI) for your payment. Upon receipt of payment, we will begin production as soon as possible and notify you once the materials are ready.

Q

How long will it take to receive a quote after sending an inquiry?

A
core strengths

On business days, our sales team is always ready to receive emails and commits to providing you with a quote within 24 hours. If we have any questions about your inquiry or if information is missing, we will contact you immediately for confirmation. Even if we are unable to provide a quote (due to the product being out of supply scope or unmet requirements), we will provide you with timely feedback.

Q

What is alloy grade?

A
core strengths

Alloy grade is a numbering system used to distinguish between different alloys. Since different alloys have different chemical compositions and varying properties, they must be named to differentiate them. For example, for an alloy containing 72% nickel and 14% chromium, the grade is Inconel 600. Of course, the same grade may have multiple designations. For example, UNS N10276 and W.Nr. 2.4819 are alternative names for Hastelloy C-276, but they all refer to the same grade.

Q

Can you provide other grades besides the standard ones?

A
core strengths

Yes. In addition to the grades listed on our website, we can provide various other grades. For example, common GH series alloys, Haynes series alloys, Waspaloy alloys, and others. However, since these alloys are relatively rare, their minimum order quantities will be significantly higher, and there are also size restrictions. Therefore, please confirm detailed specifications with us when submitting your inquiry.

Q

Can you customize other product forms?

A
core strengths

Yes, the products listed on our website are only our standard offerings. We can also customize products into different shapes, such as various forgings (blocks, discs, rings, etc.). We can also provide cut-to-size parts, cutting sheet metal into the shapes you require. If you have needs for castings or powder metallurgy materials, please feel free to confirm with us.

Q

Do you arrange shipping?

A
core strengths

This depends on your requirements. By default, we use the FOB price term. You may arrange shipping through a freight forwarder you trust based on your needs. We will coordinate with the freight forwarder to handle the documentation and ship the goods to their warehouse. Of course, if you prefer that we handle the entire shipping process, we can use other price terms. Whether by sea or air, we have long-term partnerships with freight forwarders to ensure reliable transportation.

Q

How long will it take to receive the goods?

A
core strengths

This depends on the specific product. For wire products, the entire production cycle is very short, taking approximately 35 working days. For bars, strips, and similar products, around 50 working days is standard. The most time-consuming items to produce are pipes and sheets, which generally require 65 working days. Of course, actual delivery times are subject to many factors; if we have pre-smelted ingots available, delivery times can be further shortened. For some less common products, delivery times may be longer.

Q

Are nickel alloys and superalloys the same?

A
core strengths

The definitions of nickel alloys and superalloys are not the same. Nickel alloy refers to an alloy where nickel is the primary element, while superalloy refers to an alloy used at high temperatures. However, there is a high degree of overlap between them, though there are exceptions. For example, Monel 400 is a nickel alloy but is not a superalloy. Conversely, among superalloys, in addition to nickel alloys, there are also cobalt alloys and other alloys dominated by different elements.

Q

What is the difference between Monel, Inconel, Incoloy, and Hastelloy?

A
core strengths

Monel, Inconel, Incoloy, and Hastelloy all represent groups of alloys. Monel is a nickel-copper alloy and serves as a generic term for a series of such alloy grades. For example, Monel 400 and Monel K-500 both belong to the Monel family, but they differ in their nickel and copper content, as well as the proportions of other trace elements. Similarly, Inconel refers to nickel-chromium alloys or nickel-chromium-iron alloys. Incoloy refers to nickel-iron-chromium alloys or iron-nickel-chromium alloys. Hastelloy refers to nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys or nickel-molybdenum alloys. The element listed first in the name represents the highest percentage in the alloy.
