Inconel 625 Round Bar & Rod Supplier
As a professional nickel alloy supplier, we manufacture high quality Inconel 625 (UNS N06625 / W.Nr. 2.4856) round bar & rod.
Inconel 625 has very good overall performance. Both corrosion resistance, high temperature performance and strength are very satisfactory. Therefore, it is one of the most commonly used nickel alloy materials. At the same time it is also our popular product.
Our Inconel 625 round bars & rods are produced strictly to the default ASTM B446 standard. Two grades of Inconel 625 round bar & rod are specified in the standard. Grade I is the normal annealed condition. Grade II (solution annealed condition) is our recommendation when you need the alloy with better creep strength. The grade of Inconel 625 round bar & rod should be requested from the supplier at the time of purchase. We can customize the heat treatment method according to your requirements.

FAQ
What is the difference between the annealed and solution-treated states of Inconel 625?

These two states are the standard delivery forms for Inconel 625, corresponding to grade 1 and grade 2 in the standard. The annealed state has higher strength and is more suitable for room temperature environments; the solution-treated state performs better at high temperatures. Therefore, please specify the state you need before placing an order.
Do you produce round bars using hot rolling or forging processes?

Hot rolling and forging are both forming processes we use when manufacturing round bars. The specific choice depends on the final dimensions of the product and your requirements for mechanical properties or microstructure. Generally speaking, round bars with smaller diameters (e.g., below 50mm) are more suitable for hot rolling because it has higher production efficiency and better dimensional accuracy.
What are your standard lengths?

For round bars, our standard lengths are 1 meter, 3 meters, and 6 meters. By default, we deliver in 1-meter lengths, which can save you more on packaging and logistics costs. However, we can customize more different lengths according to your requirements. If you are price-sensitive, we can provide you with random lengths. Please note that the available lengths vary depending on the size of the round bar.
Do you perform ultrasonic testing on your round bars?

Yes. Normally, we perform ultrasonic testing on round bars after smelting or forging to ensure there are no internal defects such as cracks or pores. If you require a second test after all the material has been processed, we can arrange that according to your needs.
What is polishing?

Polishing refers to the process of grinding the surface of a round bar using a high-hardness grinding wheel to obtain a brighter surface. Generally, hot-rolled round bars have oxide scale on their surface, which needs to be removed by polishing. Cold-drawn round bars already have a bright surface, so polishing is not necessary.
How can I understand forging?

Forging is a hot working method. During forging, the material is first heated to soften, then repeatedly hammered in different directions until the dimensions and shape meet the requirements. Forging helps to refine the microstructure of the material.
