MONEL® nickel-copper alloy 400 (UNS N04400 / W.Nr. 2.4360 and 2.4361) is a solid-solution alloy that can be hardened only by cold working. It has high strength and toughness over a wide temperature rangeand excellent resistance to many corrosive environments.

Monel 400 thick-walled pipe is a seamless, thick-walled Monel 400 pipe. Compared with Monel 400 seamless pipe, it not only inherits high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, but also has better high pressure resistance. Therefore, Monel 400 thick-walled tubes are often used in high-pressure equipment. In the manufacturing process, due to the thicker wall thickness, cold rolling and cold drawing processes are no longer applicable, so the Monel 400 thick-walled pipe is perforated and hot-rolled from Monel 400 round bar.
