INCONEL® nickel-iron-chromium alloy 706 (UNS N09706) is a precipitation-hardenable alloy that provides high mechanical strength in combination with good fabricability. The characteristics of the alloy are similar to those of INCONEL alloy 718 except that alloy 706 is more readily fabricated, particularly by machining.
Inconel 706 hexagon bar (hex bar, hexagonal bar) is a nickel alloy bar with a hexagon cross-section. Since it can be used as the raw material for many Inconel 706 fasteners (such as Inconel 706 screws, Inconel 706 nuts, etc.), it is also one of our most popular Inconel 706 bar products. We can provide hot-rolled, cold-drawn or forged Inconel 706 hexagon bars. The common finish of Inconel 706 hexagon bar is polished finish.
