Inconel 693 forms a dense Cr₂O₃ and Al₂O₃ oxide layer on the surface through the synergistic effect of high chromium (about 27-31%) and aluminum (about 2.5-4.0%), which effectively blocks the erosion of corrosive media such as oxygen and sulfides. Even in a continuous high temperature environment above 1000°C, it can still maintain an extremely low oxidation rate, which is significantly better than ordinary stainless steel and other nickel-based alloys (such as Inconel 600). Whether it is a petrochemical cracking furnace, heat treatment equipment, or gas turbine components, Inconel 693 round bar & rod can ensure long-term stable performance.
In high temperature environments, Inconel 693 round bar & rod maintains excellent creep resistance and mechanical strength due to its solid solution strengthening effect and stable γ phase structure. Experimental data show that it can still maintain high tensile strength and fatigue life at 870°C, and is suitable for key components such as high-temperature fasteners and combustion chamber components.
