Inconel 690 is a superalloy. It has excellent corrosion resistance, high temperature strength and oxidation resistance. It is mainly composed of nickel, chromium and iron. Compared with other nickel-based alloys, Inconel 690 plate has better corrosion resistance. The chromium element in its main component can form a dense oxide layer to prevent further corrosion. Plus, it's lower in iron. This makes it more stable in oxidizing and sulfide environments. At high temperature, Inconel 690 plate still has excellent tensile strength and fatigue resistance, and can work stably for a long time in high temperature environment.
