Inconel 600 Round Bar & Rod Supplier
We are a professional nickel alloy supplier and we manufacture high performance Inconel 600 round bar & rod.
Inconel 600 is one of the most commonly used superalloys. It has excellent corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance. Inconel 600 has good creep rupture strength and can be used in working environments above 700°C.
We manufacture Inconel 600 round bar & rod strictly according to ASTM B166 standard. Our default delivery condition is solution treated and polished. If you have other requirements for the mechanical properties of the alloy, we can also customize other delivery conditions for you.
Chemical Composition of Inconel 600
*Chemical Composition According to ASTM B166

*Mechanical Properties According to ASTM B166
For the Inconel 600 round bar we recommend delivery in solution treated condition. This will allow the alloy to reach its peak performance. For Inconel 600 rods, we still default to delivery in solution state. However, if you need a certain tensile strength of Inconel 600 rod, we can deliver it directly in cold drawn condition.
FAQ
Why choose Inconel 600 over stainless steel?

Because Inconel 600 far surpasses stainless steel in terms of corrosion resistance, high-temperature strength, and overall mechanical properties. However, these performance advantages come at a higher price.
What is the difference between hot-rolled round bars and forged round bars?

Although both hot rolling and forging are hot working processes, they affect material properties differently. Hot-rolled round bars typically have better roundness and tighter outer diameter tolerances, while forged round bars offer superior straightness and, through the process, can achieve finer grain structure. Additionally, forged round bars can be ground to improve any shortcomings in roundness and dimensional accuracy.
Can you supply cold-drawn bars?

Yes, we can. You can also provide us with your specific mechanical property requirements, and we will select different cold-drawing and heat treatment processes based on your needs. Of course, we can supply cold-drawn bars according to your specifications.
Can you chamfer the ends of the round bars?

No problem. Generally, customers perform further processing on the material after receiving the product, so we do not apply chamfers by default. However, we have a full range of machining and chamfering equipment to meet your chamfering requirements.
Can you supply black bars?

Unless otherwise specified, we provide bright-finished bars by default. If your product requires complex further processing, you can request black bars, which are slightly cheaper than bright-finished bars, though the tolerances will be correspondingly wider.
What is grinding?

Grinding is the process of polishing the surface of a bar using a harder material to achieve a bright finish and precise dimensions. If you have strict tolerance requirements for the material, grinding is an essential process. Additionally, since grinding is performed while the bar is rotating, it also places high demands on the bar’s straightness.
