In oxidizing atmospheres exceeding 1000 degrees Celsius, this material forms a dense and highly adhesive chromium oxide protective film on its surface, effectively preventing further oxidation and corrosion of the substrate. Whether subjected to repeated thermal shocks from temperature fluctuations or under long-term stable insulation conditions, it maintains structural integrity and dimensional stability.
