INCOLOY® alloy 27-7MO (UNS S31277; EP 1,263,999 B1) is an advanced 7% molybdenum super-austenitic stainless steel offering corrosion resistance in most environments superior to 6% molybdenum super-austenitic stainless steels. In many environments alloy 27-7MO offers resistance approaching that of much more highly alloyed materials such as INCONEL alloys 625, 22, and C-276.

Incoloy 27-7MO thick-walled pipe is a seamless, thick-walled Incoloy 27-7MO pipe. Compared with Incoloy 27-7MO seamless pipe, it not only inherits high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, but also has better high pressure resistance. Therefore, Incoloy 27-7MO thick-walled tubes are often used in high-pressure equipment. In the manufacturing process, due to the thicker wall thickness, cold rolling and cold drawing processes are no longer applicable, so the Incoloy 27-7MO thick-walled pipe is perforated and hot-rolled from Incoloy 27-7MO round bar.
