INCOLOY® alloy 028 (UNS N08028 / W.Nr. 1.4563) is a highly alloyed austenitic stainless steel offering resistance to a variety of corrosive media. By virtue of its contents of chromium and molybdenum, the alloy offers resistance to both oxidizing and reducing acids and salts. The presence of copper increases its resistance to sulfuric acid.
Incoloy 028 hexagon bar (hex bar, hexagonal bar) is a nickel alloy bar with a hexagon cross-section. Since it can be used as the raw material for many Incoloy 028 fasteners (such as Incoloy 028 screws, Incoloy 028 nuts, etc.), it is also one of our most popular Incoloy 028 bar products. We can provide hot-rolled, cold-drawn or forged Incoloy 028 hexagon bars. The common finish of Incoloy 028 hexagon bar is polished finish.
