HASTELLOY® S (UNS N06635) is a nickel-base, high-temperature alloy with a unique combination of properties. It has excellent thermal stability, low thermal expansion and excellent oxidation resistance to 2000 °F (1093 °C). In addition, the alloy has good high-temperature and thermal fatigue strength.
Hastelloy S hexagon bar (hex bar, hexagonal bar) is a nickel alloy bar with a hexagon cross-section. Since it can be used as the raw material for many Hastelloy S fasteners (such as Hastelloy S screws, Hastelloy S nuts, etc.), it is also one of our most popular Hastelloy S bar products. We can provide hot-rolled, cold-drawn or forged Hastelloy S hexagon bars. The common finish of Hastelloy S hexagon bar is polished finish. If you need Hastelloy S hexagon bar with other finishes such as pickling or sandblasting, please confirm with us.
