As a trustworthy nickel alloy supplier, AEETHER manufacture all sizes of Hastelloy G-3 (AWS A5.11 ENiCrMo-9) welding electrode.
The nominal composition (wt %) of weld metal produced by electrodes of Hastelloy G-3 is 44 Ni, 22 Cr, 19.5 Fe, 7 Mo, 2 Co, and 2 Cu. Electrodes of Hastelloy G-3 are used for welding nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys, for the welding of the clad side of joints in steel clad with nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys, and for joining nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys to steel and to other nickel-base alloys. Typical specifications for the nickel-chromium-molybdenum base metal are ASTM B581, B582, B619, B622, and B626, all of which have UNS Number N06985. These electrodes are normally used only in the flat position.
