Nickel, as the main component, ensures the high-temperature strength and creep resistance of Hastelloy G-3 round bar & rod. The addition of chromium significantly improves the oxidation resistance and acid corrosion resistance, while molybdenum further enhances the corrosion resistance in reducing media. The reasonable ratio of copper and iron optimizes the comprehensive performance of the material, making it particularly outstanding in highly corrosive media such as sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid. In addition, the low carbon content effectively reduces the risk of intergranular corrosion and ensures the stability of the material after welding and hot working.
